New Site...New Blog

Guess you’ve noticed that we have a new website. Why did we do that?

Sometimes things just need to be a bit simpler. Why make the website be so complicated and confusing, that even we have difficulty getting around? So.o.o computer whiz Ron, just decided to redo it. And it IS simple to get around with all headings being logical and leading you to the right places.

We plan to be able to write the BLOG now without it taking a Ph.D. in computer Science to put it up each time we do a new one. It’s called "Tidbits of Recovery".

Ron is feeling ever-so-much better with this new protocol he is on, and we are looking forward to his complete recovery, so that we can keep on, keeping on.

Feel free to send us e-mails with comments, questions and subjects you’d like us to write about in the blog or an article. Send e-mails to: rockeys@fixablelife.com

Thank you, Donna. We are hoping that it will be easier for folk to get around and easier for us to post, also. Appreciate your comment!

I agree on the ease of use and it looks so much more professional too. Thank you for working on it, I'm sure when I share it with others, they will find things easier to navigate as well. And yes, each time a Facebook friend (especially) talks about how difficult their friends/family/life is, I do share about your site. Hopefully someday, there will be a way to join in a group to go through the programs on-line as well. That would be a blessing to people in rural areas.

Hello Ron and Nancy
Well, life is finally settling down to a much more normal pace. Miss you. Wish we were living closer !!! SO HAPPY your treatment is working well Ron!!!!! Prayers answered.
Crazy story about fear, or my lack thereof ! One day I drove my Dad to the doctor and he was getting out of the car. It was summer and my car window was down. I was grabbed around the neck from behind. No panic. My immediate thought was I will be ok, Dad is here and he will save me! Turned out to be Dennis who pulled in behind us.
Another day I was shopping by myself, and lost some sight in my right eye. I immediately thought , well, if I loose my sight I will just ask someone to call Dennis to come for me to get me to a doctor. No panic! My sight returned within a short time, I finished shopping and went home. With a surgeon's testing, it turned out to be nothing serious.
Dennis has demonstrated my relaxed attitude by setting of fireworks behind me without me knowing it and I do not jump when it goes off. Perhaps I am just not connected !!
I do not expect you to post this. Too crazy !!! Love ya muchly

It has been five years since I completed the first two parts of "The Journey" series, and I guess, if I am honest with myself, the "mode" revealed a box full of the worst sludge, thus, I did everything I could to avoid allowing myself to be healed of the pain.

After being divorced for less than a year, I got married to someone (who is abusive) just like my mom,(found out she was a bully), earned a bachelor degree, left my husband twice (because I did not want to find out if he would hit me).

All of the above, are not necessarily in that order.

However, during the second time of my flight from the abuse, I was introduced to Pastor Bill Clark, (cofounder of Miracle Meadows). He counseled my husband and I.

This is where I discovered how to REALLY love unconditionally, and appreciate all of God's blessings. Of course, this is a short version of the story. In addition, I read "Nobody's Boy", it helped me view my abuse quite differently.

However, with all this being stated, when I viewed this months newsletter, and the TED lecture, I knew that I had more work to do.

I do not think I have ever thanked you for your ministry, it has been a stepping stone to recovery for me. When I get my next pay check, I should be able to purchase the (third step) workbook.
